Daily Procedures

 

 

 

  1. Clock In & Verify Attendance

      Use the Weekly time sheet saved on the Hshare drive (BMT, Applied folder � use a Save As procedure).

                                                               i.      Tardy, absentee penalties, and/or possible truancy penalties apply each and every time you do not clock in properly.

      In addition, at the beginning of your assigned time, verify your presence each day (for attendance purposes) by doing one of the following:

                                                               i.      By phone

1.       Use a school phone to leave me a voice mail message

2.       Dial 7001

3.       When prompted to enter the mailbox, dial 5335#

4.       Leave a message, after the tone, with your name, as well as the time and the day

                                                             ii.      By e-mail

1.       Send an e-mail message to [email protected]

2.       Include a subject line with similar information as that described above for a phone message

      At the end of the week, have your time sheet signed by your supervisor.

      Time sheets must be turned in to Mrs. Standerfer (either in person or placed in my mailbox) no later than the end of the day on Tuesdays (you�ll be turning in your time for the previous week).

  1. Check in with your supervisor in the office

      Complete any tasks assigned by the office supervisor

  1. Check the class website for assignments and other important information

      This doesn�t have to be done daily, but at least once or twice per week

 

 

 

Other Daily Tasks

  1. Check and/or fill paper supply in various office machines
    1. Office machines to be checked (varies by building):office copier, office printer, office fax machine, teacher work room copier, computer lab printer
  2. Check for Work Requests (location of requests will vary by building)
    1. Pay close attention to any deadlines that might apply to the request.Notify the person making the request, your supervisor, or Mrs. Standerfer immediately if you feel the deadline is unattainable or you have questions regarding the request
    2. Obtain any necessary information and/or supplies
    3. Begin working
  3. Obtain Work Approval (with the exception of copy requests)
    1. Fill out a Work Approval Form for all completed work
    2. Attach the Work Approval Form to the front of a copy of the completed work and turn in to Mrs. Standerfer for review
    3. all work must be approved before the completed work is given to the person requesting the work!
  4. Maintain various office machines
    1. Office machines that require regular cleaning/maintenance:sanitize office phones, keyboards, and mice; dust PC monitors, clean desktops, dust or clean other office machines, clean or sanitize other work spaces
  5. Be pro-active
    1. Look for other things you can do to be helpful, even if no one asks you to
